My hot box XL with Sho Sugi Ban finish is quite literally the best thing I’ve ever bought myself. After 4 months of owning it I’m still as excited to get in as on day one. It looks and feels luxurious. It gets so hot, I love the red light, and so love the way I feel when I get out. Ohhhh and the smell, good lord, it smells so good.

My gf and I easily fit in there with room to spare. And solo, there is room to even do some stretching. I love it so much and tell everyone who mentions the word sauna to me that this is the one!

The build is as easy as it sounds. Went together beautifully and the install video was the perfect guide.

I've owned a cold plunge for 2 years now and have been looking for a sauna ever since. I've looked into traditional saunas and infrared saunas. I needed a sauna that would work in my garage, but every sauna I came across was either too big, too expensive, or too cheap / poor quality. The Hob Box Sauna is exactly what I was looking for. It's the perfect size for the garage (or anywhere else), reasonable price, with great quality and performance. I was a bit apprehensive about it being so enclosed, but in actuality I think it adds to the meditative experience, feeling like an escape from the outside world. I would recommend this sauna to anyone that asks.

This sauna has absolutely changed the game! It’s anything and everything you could possibly want in a sauna. Super easy to assemble, great quality, and very efficient/sleek design. Currently using it outdoors, but I love that I can also move it + use it in my NYC apartment. Also love the ability to set the auto timer to heat up, so it’s ready to go to start the day. I had been researching saunas for years before making my purchase. I had tried out over a dozen and had exhausted every sauna-relevant video on YouTube before I heard about HotBox. I had gone down the rabbit hole of seeing people convert infrared saunas into hybrids and vice versa, and wished that something existed that had all the benefits of dry and infrared/red light. I stumbled across HotBox by accident, a story for another time, and I could believe my eyes. I figured the FBI and AI had just conjured up some fake website that was showing me everything I had ever wanted in a sauna. From the heating source and hybrid nature of it, to the design and quality detail, to the made in America and veteran owned story to the size and functionality, I, after having waffled between a dozen saunas over the years without pulling the trigger, bought a HotBox within 24 hours of discovering it.
I ended up getting the XL and the shou sugi ban finish, because I’m a japanophile, the communication with the team sending me updates and calling to confirm delivery was great, and the assembly only took about 30 minutes. I’ve only had it for a little over a week but I had to write a review because that week has been truly life changing. I haven’t ever slept so well in my life and I awake feeling so refreshed. I exercise pretty rigorously and have noticed some aches and pains being less nagging throughout the day, and overall muscle recovery has been great this week. My skin feels incredible, energy levels are up and I’m just flabbergasted that I’ve noticed some mind blowing, tangible results in only 7 days. I’ll write another review after a while and I know that it will only be getting better the longer I use the sauna. Take it from someone who obsesses over details and making informed purchases: this is the sauna you’ve been looking for.

I have been searching for a sauna to pair with my cold plunge for a long time but always ran into issues of quality, size, and electrical requirements. I was blown away when I found Hot Box Sauna on Instagram. The Hot Box checked all of my boxes, superior materials, compact, easy to assemble, and capable of achieving temps north of 200 degrees F on a standard 110V wall outlet. I will have been in the military for 20 years in October and am an avid Jiu-jitsu practitioner, products like the Hot Box Sauna are the cornerstones of my selfcare routine that help me recover and keep doing the things I love.

The HB Sauna is the best piece of equipment that I have for recovery. So glad that I shopped around and found them. The size was perfect for the room that it’s in. Highly recommend the sauna to anyone that is in the market for one. The set up was simple and the construction is top notch.

We did a solid year of research for a traditional or infrared sauna that would meet our budget, deliver the results we wanted and most importantly for the wife, not be a complete eye sore in our house - Then we found The Hot Box. Although I was skeptical about infrared saunas, I couldn’t be more satisfied with our sauna! It gets wicked hot, provides additional red light therapy and plugs straight into the outlet. We’re on the shorter side and the regular size is perfect, however I would definitely going up to the XL if you’re taller. Also Highly recommend the shoshugi ban as it’s practical and aesthetically pleasing. We sleep better, feel better and TBH our electrical bill is barely any higher! The Best part is this is a small veteran owned business, with an Awesome owner and support staff who actually support fellow veterans - couldn’t recommend the Hot Box more!

We have an XL in our basement and love it. The set up was easy and the cedar smell is the best. Its so well built, you can tell there is attention to detail in this. I use it while its heating up because I have MS and can't get too hot, and then my wife hops in. We've had friends/family over to use it and everyone is obsessed.

Just got mine and set up in about 15 minutes! Everything lines up perfectly the build quality is amazing! My friends at Semper Stronger recommended and I love them for it!

Love everything about this. Set up was very quick. When it arrived the first thing I noticed was how amazing it smelled. I’m 6-4 and the standard was a good enough fit for me. Seems to heat up fairly quickly and love that I can use the app to set it on a schedule or turn it on when I’m on my way home from work to be ready when I get there. Have it paired up on my lanai with my cold plunge!

we love our xl hot box. our family use it 3-4 times a week. once i read a Finnish Study that you can lower cardiovascular mortality rate by 40% using the sauna 175F for 20 minutes 4 times a week, it was an easy yes. be well.

Amazing sauna! Super easy and quick to set up. Really enjoy how quickly it heats up. Perfect size for our home gym. My husband and I are on the taller end (6 ft+) and the sauna does not feel too tight, which was a concern for us, as we were thinking we would need the XL but original is perfect. We’ve had the sauna for just about 2 months and we are obsessed!!!

Setup took well under an hour and I only needed a second person for 2 steps. Looks great in my garage too.

The assembly was so fast and straight forward. I watched the instructional video and had the entire thing built in 25 minutes, with the only tool needed is an Allen wrench provided for you! One simple but so effective component is the fact that this sauna plugs directly into a standard wall outlet. Such a huge added value not having to run a 220v line like alll the other saunas on the market. I decided to run it 60min just to heat it up. In that time it must have reached over 190 no problem! We have been using the suana in my facility for the last month and the feedback from my athletes has been nothing but outstanding. It is so simple to use, easy to keep clean and my athletes love the personal sauna experience. This thing has been an absolute value addition to our facility. The only problem is my athletes fight over using it! Regardless if you are looking for a personal home use sauna or in a commercial setting like me, I would highly recommend you pick up The Hotbox sauna. It’s only a matter of time before we add a XL to our recovery lounge!

Incredibly easy to set up and well constructed. Everything is as advertised. Customer service was communicative and the way the package was delivered ensured the sauna arrived whole and unblemished. I’ve purchased a lot of heavy gym equipment and standard shipping typically leaves you with damaged delivery from even some of the biggest name brands. The delivery company did make a mistake and forget to deliver on the day we scheduled but hotbox sauna was responsive and followed up.
