I just got the Hot Box yesterday and it is an absolutely beautifully built and quality product! It gets super hot very quickly and has already become the best part of my day. We have the Standard size and my wife and I were able to fit in together (albeit a little snug with us both), but when I am in it alone I am able to move through a bunch of different stretches. Best part - runs off of a standard outlet.

I love suffered from debilitating migraines for years. After the very first week of daily (20-30 minute) sessions in my Hot Box Sauna, I could tell I was feeling better. After a month I realized I hadn 't had a migraine since O started. I went from 1-2 per week, to MAYBE 1 per month. And that 1/mo is way less intense than they were before I started this daily routine! 10/10 recommend.

Great product and company! I've had my sauna for about 3 months and love it! Easy to put together and set up app. When one of my bulbs burnt out, they quickly sent me a replacement bulb. The even customized a logo fir me. Company is top notch. I would but again and definitely recommend to a friend!

I've had my Hot Box for almost a year and love it! It's high quality and heats up fast due to It's compact size but don't mistake it's size for lack of room It's spacious for me. Got the sauna, put it together by myself. I don 't recommend it but you can make it work. Well engineered. Trippy getting out of the 230 degree sauna and my 110 degree Arizona garage feels refreshing.

A lot of big ticket items once installed in home sometimes come with regret and sometimes the idea that you wasted money. Even after I installed it I was still afraid that I might have that issue..but as soon as I hoped into the sauna I immediately felt satisfied and beyond happy with my purchase. Incredibly easy to set up and well constructed. Everything is as advertised. Customer service was communicative and the way the package was delivered ensured the sauna arrived whole and unblemished. I love purchased a lot of heavy gym equipment and standard shipping typically leaves you with damaged delivery from even some of the biggest name brands. The delivery company did make a mistake and forget to deliver on the day we scheduled but hotbox sauna was responsive and followed up.

I extensively researched for months on the perfect sauna for my gym, SoCal Weightlifting. With over 200 Olympic Weightlifters, I wanted a sauna that is easy to set up, fast to hear, and maximizes the sauna benefits so my athletes can make sure they are properly recovering. I wanted an infrared sauna for the red light therapy, but also didn 't want to miss out on the benefits of a traditional sauna that can get over 180 degrees. That has when I found The Hot Box! This perfect hybrid sauna checks both of those boxes plus so much more. Even before assembly, the craftsmanship blew me away. The attention to detail and quality shows up in every aspect. The assembly was so fast and straight forward. I watched the instructional video and had the entire thing built in 25 minutes, with the only tool needed is an Allen wrench provided for you! One simple but so effective component is the fact that this sauna plugs directly into a standard wall outlet. Such a huge added value not having to run a 220v line like alll the other saunas on the market. I decided to run it 60min just to heat it up. In that time it must have reached over 190 no problem! We have been using the suana in my facility for the last month and the feedback from my athletes has been nothing but outstanding. It is so simple to use, easy to keep clean and my athletes love the personal sauna experience. This thing has been an absolute value addition to our facility. The only problem is my athletes fight over using it! we love our xl hot box. our family use it 3-4 times a week. once i read a Finnish Study that you can lower cardiovascular mortality rate by 40% using the sauna 175F for 20 minutes 4 times a week, it was an easy yes. be well.

Love everything about this. Set up was very quick. When it arrived the first thing I noticed was how amazing it smelled. I am 6-4 and the standard was a good enough fit for me. Seems to heat up fairly quickly and love that I can use the app to set it on a schedule or turn it on when I am on my way home from work to be ready when I get there. Have it paired up on my lanai with my cold plunge!

We have an XL in our basement and love it. The set up was easy and the cedar smell is the best. Its so well built, you can tell there is attention to detail in this. I use it while its heating up because I have MS and can't get too hot, and then my wife hops in. We've had friends/family over to use it and everyone is obsessed.

We did a solid year of research for a traditional or infrared sauna that would meet our budget, deliver the results we wanted and most importantly for the wife, not be a complete eye sore in our house - Then we found The Hot Box. Although I was skeptical about infrared saunas, I couldn 't be more satisfied with our sauna! It gets wicked hot, provides additional red light therapy and plugs straight into the outlet. We 're on the shorter side and the regular size is perfect, however I would definitely going up to the XL if you 're taller. Also Highly recommend the shoshugi ban as it has practical and aesthetically pleasing. We sleep better, feel better and TBH our electrical bill is barely any higher! The Best part is this is a small veteran owned business, with an Awesome owner and support staff who actually support fellow veterans - couldn 't recommend the Hot Box more!

I've owned a cold plunge for 2 years now and have been looking for a sauna ever since. I've looked into traditional saunas and infrared saunas. I needed a sauna that would work in my garage, but every sauna I came across was either too big, too expensive, or too cheap / poor quality. The Hob Box Sauna is exactly what I was looking for. It's the perfect size for the garage (or anywhere else), reasonable price, with great quality and performance. I was a bit apprehensive about it being so enclosed, but in actuality I think it adds to the meditative experience, feeling like an escape from the outside world. I would recommend this sauna to anyone that asks.

My hot box XL with Sho Sugi Ban finish is quite literally the best thing I love ever bought myself. After 4 months of owning it I am still as excited to get in as on day one. It looks and feels luxurious. It gets so hot, I love the red light, and so love the way I feel when I get out. Ohhhh and the smell, good lord, it smells so good. My gf and I easily fit in there with room to spare. And solo, there is room to even do some stretching. I love it so much and tell everyone who mentions the word sauna to me that this is the one!The build is as easy as it sounds. Went together beautifully and the install video was the perfect guide. Received our sauna earlier this summer (standard build for both size & wood finish). I wanted to wait to get a couple of months of constant - nearly every day use from both my wife and I - to provide a meaningful review. I can state with a high degree of confidence that this sauna is the real deal. We love been using a standard Finnish sauna for years but had been searching for a unit that could actually fit into our NYC apartment that we share with our two children and pup. We found it.
Key highlights for us:
1. Comfort: very comfortable for one person - we have the backrest which helps with the lumbar support; and my wife and I can even take one together when we are pressed for time (we are average sized fit people). I am 5 '11, I can sit with my legs fully straight and they adjust touch the front. Find it more comfortable to sit with legs bent though and find that the sides of the sauna provide support for a comfortable posture (with each knee leaning on its side wall).
2. Heat: in our indoor setup, it heats to 170+ within 35-40 mins, getting to 190-200 takes 70-80 mins (takes longer to heat to the higher temps). The app makes it very easy to pre-heat when you are away from home, which we do often.
3. Size: can really squeeze it into most spaces and don 't need much clearance to enter/exit. We actually have it off to the side in our living / dining room area for now until we have a smaller desk in our room built so we can fit it in our bedroom area (for some privacy!).
4. The wood / overall quality: every element of the build is so obviously carefully considered: the handle to grip for entering/exiting, the ease of use of the sliding door, the metal plate above the heater to help retain heat, the beauty and scent of the wood. Also the ease of assembly: I am not too handy and it was simple - needed minor assistance at one step just to hold the sides in place that was all.

Last but not least, Brady (the founder/owner) was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Gave me a video tour, then another one for my wife, and was incredibly helpful before our order, during production and remains highly responsive. This is the kind of company you can feel great about supporting, and you are getting a truly unique and quality product.

I love had a high-end portable sauna for three years before the cover fell apart. When I found this, it looked like the right upgrade even though I got to like having my head out to watch movies with my portable. I went with this one over another similar box because the other one used a metal rail, did not specify wood, or report EMF emission. I didn 't have to wait long for mine because I ordered it in the summer. When I received it, I too was impressed with the high quality and ease of set up as noted in other reviews. It took me longer to get rid of the crate and packaging than the build. I checked the EMF and it was nearly nonexistent in the sitting area of the sauna. My son and I have each been using it 4x a week over the past three months. We were both at first concerned about being immersed in such a small hot space but quickly found it to be a very meditative and satisfying experience, it'll take the peace in the box over watching movies. The box heats up quickly and we both get a great sweat. I love re-oiled it with some coconut oil, which deepened the color. When the temperature is cooler, there is a very little draft but hasn 't diminished my opinion of this wonderful product. Overall, I am thankful for such a superb creative and well built alternative in this sauna space. Worth every penny!

I love had my 2 person HBS for about 6 months now and I LOVE the unit! Tell everyone about it and friends and family that visit all want one! The Western cedar smell is fantastic and the build quality is just excellent. The fact that I didn 't have to run alternate power was a big bonus. My morning routine includes cold plunge, followed by exercise bike, followed by sauna. I do my meditation and reading in the sauna.

Love love love this thing. Have had for almost a year, I use it every morning and evening. Gets super hot very fast and the wifi remote allows you to set a schedule so that it's preheated when I wake up and preheated when I'm ready to use it before bed. Every day I sauna, ice bath, then RLT and sauna is my favorite part. Very relaxing and gets an awesome sweat going. Just purchased one for my sister for wedding gift :)

I purchased the XL a few months back. Use it 4-6x/week for 30 minutes. Takes 20-30 minutes to heat up. The regular size is probably 15 minutes to heat up. I do it about an hour before bed, and it has given me the best sleep in years. In hindsight, I probably could have gone the regular version. But once your inside the XL it has nice to not feel to cramped. Excellent product, would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about health and recovery.

I usually never writes a review for a product, but the Hot Box Sauna demands one just so that everyone really knows how life changing a product it is and how amazing Brady and the whole team is. The quality of construction is top notch, its Made in America, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and it only takes about 15 minutes to get hot enough for use. Putting it together was fairly easy, even by myself, but I did need to look up a video on YouTube on how the pieces went together. After a hard workout, or just a long day at the office, the Hot Box Sauna is perfect to relax a bit in, and paired with a cold plunge or cold shower, it really gets the juices flowing and helps me recover. Thanks to the whole team for such a practical and life changing product!

We recently bought a HotBox Sauna and are beyond happy with the sauna. The delivery process was easy. The sauna is simple to assemble and then just plug in the wall to use - no special outlets needed. It is the perfect size - not too big and not too small plus has a sleek simple design. I actually like that there is no window because it allows the world to be blocked out. We use the sauna at least 4 times a week. It has helped with my flexibility and in the dark winter months all of the bright lights are nice to improve your mood. Can 't recommend this enough, a must buy!

Yes its expensive, but if you don't invest in your mental and physical health you are being foolish.Mentally this thing has helped me destress and focus more than anything I have experienced. I frankly don't listen to reviews, I always need to find out for myself. I recommend you try this sauna. If it doesn't work for you so be it. My wife and I made a commitment at the start of 2024 to prioritize our heath. We did tons of research on traditional vs FAR. These guys have hit the nail on the head. An American made no frills Sauna with all the benefits at a much smaller price. So many sauna has sacrifice heat for aesthetics. That being said, this one still looks pretty cool with a very unique build and it gets very hot comparitively.

I was looking for a small sauna that would reach a fairly high temp (wasn 't just infrared) and could run on a typical home outlet without having electrician hardwiring needed. This fit everything I wanted with the bonus of being easily moved and high quality construction. Even better, it has made in the US by a small company who was very responsive and invested in making sure they were building the best product and that I was satisfied!

I lovingly refer to this as my "introvert sauna" :) I had been using the sauna at my local gym, which was fine, but I've LOVED having my own sauna at home that's easy/convenient and where I don't have to worry about getting pulled into long conversations with strangers when I really just want some alone time. I love how easy it is to assemble/reassemble (which, I've done multiple times by myself because I was pretty indecisive of where I wanted to have it and ended up testing it out in each spot... porch, garage, gym). Standard outlet and the HEAT level are also HUGE pluses! I honestly can't say enough good things about my Box!

The HotBox Sauna is the best product in the entire sauna space. It solves the price issue at more than half the price of the average traditional sauna. It fits in any living space be it house or apartment. It has minimal impact on energy consumption. And most importantly IT GETS HOT! At temps over 180 degrees it enables you to actually reap the benefits of heat shock proteins. It has become my favorite possession I own.

My wife and I use this sauna every day, and it has been such a game changer for us. It has a great way to close out a workout or a long day, and we 're both feeling more relaxed. I was concerned she 'd feel claustrophobic, but she says there has nothing like sliding the top closed and being able to sit in peace with her thoughts. Let's start with the fact that it is a hybrid sauna. I love getting the benefits of heat and infrared in one sauna. It is easy to set up, has beautiful craftsmanship and high-quality materials, and is hands down the hottest sauna on the market. It heats up faster than most saunas I know of and can be set to turn on and off on a schedule or remotely from your phone. I love that you can have a custom mantra printed on the handle (at no cost, might I add).

Simply the best. I have been in a lot of saunas over the years, steam, dry traditional, IR, you name it. The Hot Box provides the best sauna experience I've ever had. I have owned my sauna now for 4 months and it has been excellent! I love the convenience and its ability to heat up in a short amount of time. As someone who is limited on space, this is the perfect sauna. It doesn't take up much room, plugs in to a standard electrical outlet, and can me taken apart and set back up with ease if I need to move it. Also, its ability to heat to 220 degrees far surpasses any other red light sauna I have seen on the market. Really happy with my purchase. Additionally, the customer service has been great and the team has responded extremely quickly with any questions I have.
